Hi, I’m Koby. You’ll work with me directly.
My day job is engineering enterprise software — systems that thousands of people rely on and that simply can’t go down. I started Fowler Engineering to bring that same standard to small businesses and founders who deserve better than templates and disappearing freelancers.
When you work with me, there’s no hand-off and no runaround. I’ll tell you plainly what will move the needle for your business, build it properly, and pick up the phone when you need something.

How much does a website cost?
Most small-business websites land between $2,500 and $6,000, depending on the number of pages and features like booking or online payments. You’ll get a fixed quote in writing before any work starts.
How long does it take?
Most websites launch in 2–4 weeks. Custom web apps typically take 4–10 weeks. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback come together, and I’ll help keep that moving.
I don’t have everything figured out yet. Is that okay?
Absolutely — that’s what the free call is for. Many projects start with “I know something needs to change.” I’ll help you figure out what’s worth building and what isn’t.
What do you need from me?
Your logo (if you have one), any photos, and a sense of what you want customers to do. I’ll help structure and write the copy so you’re not staring at a blank page.
Who owns the website when it’s done?
You do. All code, content, domains, and accounts are yours. If you ever want to move on, everything goes with you.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes 30 days of fixes. After that you can join a monthly care plan or simply reach out when you need something — no long-term contract required.
How does payment work?
Typically 50% to start and 50% at launch. Larger projects can be split into milestones so you only pay as work is delivered.
Do you only work with local businesses?
I’m based in Sycamore, IL and happy to meet in person around DeKalb County and the Chicago suburbs. I also work remotely with clients anywhere in the U.S.
